10 Energizing, Immunity-Boosting Drink Recipes

Try these delicious and satisfying drinks to boost your immune system. If you want to read more about this topic, read my previous blog 10 Immune Boosting Tips. In today’s blog, I’ve provided ten immunity drink recipes.

  • Honey, matcha, and green tea are rich in antioxidants.
  • Ginger helps digestion and fights the common cold.
  • Citrus is loaded with vitamin C.
  • Kale and berries reduce oxidative stress from free radicals.
  • Hibiscus tea contains powerful antiviral properties.

HOT DRINKS

Turmeric Latte

Servings: 2

 

2.5 cups almond or coconut milk

3 tablespoons raw macadamia nuts, ground fine

2 servings collagen peptides

1 tablespoon turmeric

½ teaspoon cinnamon

1 teaspoon vanilla extract, organic

1 teaspoon honey

 

Heat all ingredients in a saucepan on the stovetop. Use a frother to add foam, if desired. Pour into your favorite mug and savor the rich flavor.

 

Lemon Ginger Tea

Servings: 4

 

4 cups water

1 2-inch ginger root, peeled and sliced

1 lemon, sliced

2–3 teaspoons honey

 

Boil water in a saucepan on the stovetop. Remove from the heat and stir in the honey until it dissolves. Add the thinly sliced ginger and lemon. Steep for 20 minutes. Pour into mugs to serve warm or pour over ice for a refreshing drink.

 

Matcha Tea Latte

Serving: 1

 

½ cup hot water

½ cup coconut milk

1 teaspoon matcha tea powder

1 teaspoon honey

 

Dissolve the matcha tea powder in a small amount of hot water in a mug. Heat the rest of the water, coconut milk, and honey in a saucepan on the stovetop. Add the heated mixture to the tea, and blend with a frother.

 

Cinnamon Hibiscus Tea

Serving: 1

 

8 ounces of water

1 hibiscus tea bag

½ teaspoon cinnamon

 

Pour boiling water over the tea bag in your favorite tea cup and let it steep for 5 minutes. Add the cinnamon and stir.

 

Golden Ginger Milk

Servings: 2

 

2 cups of almond or coconut milk

½ tablespoon turmeric

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

1 teaspoon coconut oil

1 teaspoon lemon zest

1 teaspoon vanilla

½ teaspoon cinnamon

 

Grate the ginger and zest the lemon. Add all the ingredients to the blender and blend on high. Pour into your favorite mug and top with a dash of cinnamon.


COLD BEVERAGES

Spinach/Apple Smoothie

Servings: 2

 

2.5 cups fresh organic spinach

1 organic Granny Smith apple, chopped

1 banana

1 cucumber, chopped

½ cup almond milk

3 dates

1 tablespoon flaxseed, ground

1 lemon, juiced

½ cup ice

2 teaspoons unsweetened coconut, shredded

 

In a blender mix the banana, spinach, and almond milk until combined. Add the apple, cucumber, dates, flaxseed, and lemon juice and blend for a couple of minutes until smooth. Add the ice and blend. Pour into two glasses and top with the shredded coconut.

 

Mango Green Tea Smoothie

Servings: 2

 

1 cup water

2 green tea bags

2 mango, peeled and sliced

½ cup ice

 

Boil water, pour over tea bags, and steep for 5 minutes. Blend tea, mango, and ice in a blender until smooth. Pour into two glasses.

 

Berry Probiotic Smoothie

Servings: 3

 

1 pear, firm, chopped

1 green apple, chopped

1 cup frozen organic strawberries

½ cup frozen blackberries

½ cup frozen raspberries

1 cup coconut yogurt

1 cup water

 

Mix the apple and pear in a blender. Add the rest of the ingredients except the water. Add the water as needed to liquify the smoothie until it is well blended. Pour into glasses and top with a raspberry.

 

Super Kale Juice

Servings: 2

 

1 bag organic kale

2 organic apples, diced

1 lime, juiced

1 1-inch ginger root, peeled

1/2–3/4 cup water

 

In a blender mix the kale, apples, ginger, lime juice, and add half of the water. Add the rest of the water if needed until well blended. Pour into two glasses and sip on this nourishing drink.

 

Green Pineapple Smoothie

Serving: 1

 

1 cup kale or spinach

1 cup frozen pineapple

1 cup unsweetened non-dairy yogurt

½ cup coconut milk

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

 

Combine all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Pour into your glass and enjoy!

  1. Wow! That’s a fantastic post. Thanks for the recipes of these many immunity-boosting drinks. We regularly drink a herbal concoction based on my grandma’s recipe. Will try out the above drinks. My kids would definitely love the berry smoothies.
